TEFL Regional Programming and Training Specialist

This is a full-time position based in Tunja, under the direct supervision of the TEFL Project Manager (PM). The RPTS is responsible for supporting the planning, development, implementation and administration of an assigned Peace Corps project in the region. During training events, the PTS serves as a technical trainer for their sector and region. The RPTS balances the demands of training, project development, site preparation, monitoring & evaluation, and Volunteer Support by working in collaboration with other P&T team members.. This position provides on-going technical assistance and guidance to our TEFL Volunteers; and carries out site identification and development processes in the Andean Region; builds and maintains productive working relationships with local governments, NGOs, and community organizations, between other functions. Although the office for this position is currently located in Tunja, the selected person must be willing and able to relocate to another location such as Chía or surrounding areas.
